Getting there
NEERS encourages all attendees to consider alternatives modes of transportation to help reduce the environmental impact of our meeting. To that end, below are some car-free recommendations for getting to the meeting!
Train from Boston
For those coming from points further south, NEERS highly recommends taking the Amtrak Downeaster train, which stops in Freeport (0.4 miles from the Harraseekett Inn) and offers 5 roundtrips from Boston's North Station on a daily basis.

Bus from Portland
The Greater Portland Metro offers a cheap (only $2 to $4!) and convenient bus from Portland to Freeport called the Metro BREEZ. The BREEZ stops at the LL Bean flagship store, which is just a block away from the Harraseeket Inn. The BREEZ offers several departures from Portland on Thursday & Friday, as well as good return times on Saturday.
