Transportation and Parking: Parking around Brooklyn College can be a challenge and public transportation or car pooling in encouraged. There is metered parking along Campus Road and a parking garage at 2201 Nostrand Avenue, a short walk from the Student Center. Depending on where you are staying, there are various other transportation options. By subway, take the Q train to Avenue H (15-minute walk to Student Center) or take the 2 or 5 trains to the end of the line at Flatbush Avenue/Brooklyn College (short walk to Student Center). By bus, you can take the B41, B44 or Q35 straight to Brooklyn College. There are also plenty of rideshare options like Uber and Lyft. 

Local Attractions: It's Brooklyn. There are too many to list. Some of the nearby attractions are Coney Island, Prospect Park, Brooklyn Bridge Park, the Brooklyn Museum, the NY Aquarium, the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge, and the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. If you want to go to that other borough (Manhattan), try Hudson River Park.
